GABRIELLE AS TATAKA / DEVI
NOTES FROM THE ATHENAEUM:
In Indian mythology, Tataka was a woman who could change form. Cursed by a sage, she was transformed into a demon, a man-eater, terrorizing the people, devouring them. Devi is the Sanskrit word for Goddess, synonymous with Shakti, the female aspect of the divine, without whom the male aspect, consciousness or discrimination, remains impotent and void.
Do you know the whereabouts of the Kali flower necklace, skulls necklace, foot wraps, earrings or nose ring? The Tataka Devi crown or foot wraps?
The Xena Museum & Athenaeum is seeking these items.
Please email the Museum.
